When you have to do homework on a Sunday, you wear handknits. At least I can be comfy.
Three skeins of yarn destined to become three Sleepy Kittens by @susanbanderson for the little sisters. After a couple of years of mainly knitting for myself, I've suddenly been possessed by the urge to make things for other people. No birthday or Christmas gifts - just random acts of love inspired by patterns and yarns I genuinely enjoy using.
The snow is finally starting to melt and I have a new thrift store sweater to test out, so obviously a walk through the backyard woods was called for. What better way to celebrate the risen Christ than by enjoying His creation?
It's blocked, in all it's squishy garter and brioche glory. I'm in love! It drapes so easily around my shoulders. I need to make more shawls with this shape! Or just keep making this one over and over again. 😊
